S13 Blog 2: Do you think the government is doing all it can to prevent disease?
Hello everyone! on my second day of blogging, I want to talk specifically about how the government has dealt with the pandemic.馃樂
In the year 2020 the virus arrived to the world, and approximately in April the first case to Chile, many people did not believe in it until we saw how the cases went up and up and even more deaths, I saw many neighbors dying and I wonder why the government did not take the necessary measures in the first minute, why did they wait so long? closing borders for example, they were closed after a long time, I saw people traveling abroad on vacation when people were dying here. We had a very long quarantine, which had no effect, there were still many cases but people were not psychologically well and the only thing that was achieved was that people wanted to go out more! They implemented a curfew that lasted until yesterday!!! they tried to lock us in, making us think that it would get better but it got worse.
I am thankful that with the vaccine we have been able to have more freedom, I am very happy for that, now I can go to the University after being a year online.
I hope we continue to take care of ourselves so we can continue to be free.

Indeed, this government did not know how to manage things well, but now that it has passed, we must take the opportunity to go to university before they close it again! jaja greetings!
ResponderEliminarI remember when the Minister of Health at that time said that Chile was prepared to face the pandemic, unfortunately it was not so because the pandemic evidenced all the defects and the lack of personnel that existed, the government took measures that did not help much, I live in a commune where the cases were very high and we had one of the longest quarantines at that time and the cases instead of going down continued to rise, because unfortunately people had to go out to work or else they faced dismissals.
